Description

Hook Eye Turnbuckle Thimble Grip Short Screw Eye HDARTT kit suits a Heavy Duty suspension, guy or catenary wire, 20 meters or less in length (hence LAR or Long Adjustable Run). There is a single tensioning point and two attachment points. attachments are two Collaared Lag Eye Screws. These attach directly into softwood or hardwood timber posts (hence the TT or Timber to Timber).

Application

One ende of the wire attach to a Hook Open Turnbuckle (for wire tensioning). The eye of the turnbuckle is connected to the wire with three wire rope grips and a thimble. The hook of the turnbuckle attaches to the Collared Lag Screw Eye. The other ebd of the wire attaches directly to the Collared Lage Eye Screw. Both Screw Eyes fasten to a timber post or wall.Wire may be installed and ‘cut to length’ or left longer for adjustment later. Please make sure you expand the turnbuckles before measurement. Alternately, if you build the wire before you install it, then the length of a wire run is determined by the ‘inside to inside’ post measurement less a fixed amount which represents the distance between the attachment posts ‘taken up’ by the fittings when installed and adjusted properly.
