Description

Jaw Swage Rigging Screw Fork Terminal Saddles SR Kit suits a run of wire of 10 meters or less (hence the SR or Short Run). The Jaw Swage Rigging Screw provides a single tensioning point at one end. And the other end has a non-adjustable Fork Terminal. Consequently, the saddles secure both ends of the wire. No fasteners are supplied with this kit (hence the or ??). As a result, the saddles can attach directly into a softwood, hardwood, or metal posts or walls etc. Optional versions of this Kit work with 2.4mm, 3.2mm, and 4.0mm Wire Rope.

Application
We recommend cutting, building, installing and reviewing your installation to ensure that it looks the way YOU want it to look once its complete.

Option 1 – Build in Place First step, secure the saddles. Subsequently, install the wire through the intermediate posts and ‘cut to length’. Secondly, drill the intermediate posts out to at least 4mm prior to swaging in place. Thirdly, before swaging, please expand all of the tensioners. Finally, this preserves the maximum adjust-ability.

Option 2 – Pre Build Alternately, you build the wire into the Jaw Swage Rigging Screw Fork Terminal Saddles SR Kit before you install it. Consequently the wire length is the ‘inside to inside’ post measurement less a fixed amount. Interestingly, this fixed amount is the distance ‘taken up’ by the fittings. Finally, the kit installs and adjusts properly with the correct length adjustment.
