Description
The Adjustable Hook Cable Grippers are Nickel Coated Copper fittings are cable grippers that form part of our SlipLox range of robust safety oriented fittings for hanging items securely on miniature wire. This fitting has a gated hook to mate securely with some sort of eye or hole. The geometry of the fitting makes for incredible strength. It serves as an adjustable (releasable) attachment to wire rope for some sort of unit or anchor point. The cylindrical body provides a “gallery level” appearance for that timeless look. The body secures the fitting to the line using a simple but effective ‘gravity enhanced’ locking mechanism – that remains adjustable even under load. The advantage of a SlipLox fittings is that they can be adjusted using onlty 1 hand. The secure locking mechanism facilitates this and these fasteners are secure once installed. Finally, SlipLox fittings are completely compatable with Stainless Steel Wire Rope and can be combined with a huge variety of other fittings for anchorage purposes or load distribution.
Usage: The SlipLox Adjustable Hook Nickel Coated Copper fitting works with a range of sizes of miniature wire. All hooks are polished for excellent corrosion resistance and durability. Additionally, the base material is high quality copper assuring compatability with all grades of stainless steel. The nickel plated chromium finish is both superior and durable. SlipLox hooks suit general purpose hanging, suspension and display applications. Their strength and form accommodates most types of items that can be equipped with an ‘eye’ sort of anchor point. Note that these fittings can be rated and have a WLL established based on the deployment cable.
