Aluminium Nutserts Large Flange Splined place captive nut anchors in sheet, tube or hollow section. Nutserts are also Rivet Nuts, Rivnuts, or Captive Nuts. The Aluminium Nutserts are Round. Additionally, Nutserts are either open or closed. Large Flange Splined Nutserts are “OPEN”. Open Nutserts are general purpose and form an open tube when installed. Conversely, closed rivnuts for a closed tube when installed. Additionally, rivnuts fit a single thread diameter and pitch. Other fittings can used with Rivet Nuts. Rivet Nuts also require proper installation tools for their use.

Usage: The Aluminium Nutserts provide a strong captive thread in thin panels. Rivnuts are also recommended in applications where only one side of the panel is accessible. These include such as box or tube section. Rivet Nuts install into panels as thin as 0.5mm. Nutserts do not suffer from the maximum hardness limitations of self-clinching nuts. Consequently, rivet nuts are suitable for installation into hard or non-ductile panels. Our Rivnuts feature “bulge control” technology to accurately control the upset point.
