Description
These Hexagonal Cordless Hydraulic Swager dies suit the 5.5T Low Cost Wire Cordless Hydraulic Swaging Tool. The sizing is very similar to the EM Series, but the width of the contact surface is less, thus allowing higher effective pressure with a reduced head pressure.
Application: They are offered separately – in case of loss of the original or if there is an interest in having some extras. All of the dies that we supply with our Swaging Tools are (and have always been) high carbon steel that is heat treated for long life. Some are Plated (similar to a socket set – depends on the factory run), and all are awesome. Used as recommended, in the EP tool, these jaws are hard enough that they will (probably) never need to be replaced. But if you do wear them out, or lose them in the forest – the replacements are available here…
The dies are available as individual (matched) pairs or as a set. These little beauties work for specific tools – as well as being available in specific sizes. Please note that the EP series dies will fit the EM series tools – however this cross series fitment is not recommended.
