Lag Collared Eye Rigging Screw 6mm M6 is a turnbuckle Connecting wire to a timber structure. It is also known as a Lag Eye Bottle Screw. They are ideal fasteners for timber structure projects requiring tensioners or turnbuckles for stainless steel wire rope. A Rigging Screw is a closed body turnbuckle. These fasten with an eye connecting the wire and a threaded lag screw connecting the timber post. They easily adjust on a timber post or wall. Tensioning occurs without twisting the attached stainless steel wire rope or fittings. Rigging screws conceal the threads within the pipe for an appealing streamlined look.

Usage: The Lag Eye Rigging Screw 6mm M6 will work with a limited range of fittings. Our Rigging screws consists of a closed body with a threaded Lag Screw, and a Collared Eye bolt. Firstly, fitment of the threaded lag screw requires a pilot hole. Secondly, fitment of the wire to the Eye bolt requires a loop of sorts. A hydraulic swaging tool crimps the stud to the appropriate diameter of wire rope. Finally, the slim body of the Jaw Eye Rigging Screw can easily provide tension to your wire rope, without bending or stretching the wire. Tighten the body of the rigging screw with a c-spanner by rotating the body clockwise until tensioned to your needs.
