The Slip-Lox Cable Gripper Button Head Screw is part of our Slip-Lox range of robust safety-oriented fittings for hanging items securely on miniature wire. These reduced head machine screws fit inside the Slip-Lox Bodies and greatly extend their general usability. The M6 Button Head Screw with a 4mm Hex Drive allows Slip-Lox Bodies to be mounted in a panel (ceiling or floor or wall), aluminium extrusion, nutsert, well nut, nutsert, jack nut, etc. These assemblies hold the wire with incredible strength and remains adjustable even under maximum load. Additionally, the base material is high quality G316 Stainless Steel assuring compatibility with all manner of wire rope. The finish avoids any sort of dis-similar alloys reaction is both superior and durable. Slip-Lox fittings and fasteners suit general purpose hanging, suspension and display applications.
Usage: The Slip-Lox Cable Gripper Button Head Screw has standardized M6x1.0 metric threads to suit our Slip-Lox Cable Gripper Bodies. These Slip-Lox 3-Ball Cam Lock secures the fitting to the line using a simple but effective ‘gravity enhanced’ locking mechanism – that remains adjustable even under maximum load. The advantage of a standard Slip-Lox Cable Gripper is that it can be quickly adjusted without tools. Finally, Slip-Lox fittings can be combined with a huge variety of other fittings for anchorage purposes or load distribution. Note that these fittings have a WLL established based on the MBS of the deployment cable using an 8x safety factor.
