Strop ID Tag G316 Stainless Steel Wire Rope  is 316 marine grade 19mmx76mm stainless steel ID Tag for Height Safety Wires. It attaches onto the cable with either a Clear Heat Shrink Coating and or a set of nylon zip ties. These tags are intended to be ‘installed’ at the time of manufacture of the strops – but they may also be added after the fact.

Strop ID Tag G316 Stainless Steel Wire Rope is 316 marine grade 19mmx76mm stainless steel ID Tag for Height Safety Wires. It attaches onto the cable with either a Clear Heat Shrink Coating and or a set of nylon zip ties. These tags are intended to be ‘installed’ at the time of manufacture of the strops – but they may also be added after the fact.
Usage: This Strop ID tag has space for 4 lines of text with 21 Characters per line – in addition to a QR code. This information is laser etched into the stainless steel so that production information (source, rating, and install date) can be seen in the field over time. The QR code – when linked to a users website – can provide more detailed information about the Strop and can be accessed on line.
Suitability: Use this Strop Tag for 15kN and 30kN wires where required. It is not recommended that physically smaller wires are tagged in this manner. If tagging of smaller capacity/diameter cables is required – please contact us directly for a more appropriate solution.
