Description
Hydraulic Swager Body is a replacement body. This is NOT a complete tool. It fits on our Heavy Duty Hydraulic Swaging Tool – and that’s about it. It will swage ferrules and stainless fittings all day long – with 2 hands and a lot of bananas 🙂 The robust design eliminates shake and vibration which makes the tool usable over extended timeframes. And over time – sometimes hydraulic tools leak – and believe me its easier to swap than fix (I have done both).
Usage: This Swager Body makes Swaging/Crimping of Hourglass/Duplex Ferrules/Swages super easy – again (…don’t drop it). Given the proper dies, the Swager suits Swages made of Nickel Coated Copper (from 1mm to 6mm) or Aluminium and Stainless Steel fittings for 2mm up to 4mm Stainless Steel Wire Rope. Used properly, the precise crimping die sets with self-releasing mechanism ensure high-quality crimping effect after crimping repeatedly.
