- Cutter which simply cuts the wire, and a
- Hex Swager (or swaging or crimping or welding tool) This is a very light duty mechanical form
Additionally, you need (at least):
- Wire (of some length) which sort of depends on the project.
- Fittings (also called tensioners or terminals). These fasten at either end of the wire allowing it to be attached to a substrate
Usage: Using the Hex Hand Hand Swaging Tool Kit is easy. Simply cut the wire to length, slip one end into a fitting, and squish the swaging Tube (#8 for 3.0 and 3.2mm wire rope and #6 for 2.4mm and 2.5mm Wire Rope).
