The Cable Tether Kit (CTK) is designed to provide a way to effectively secure cables. Its literally a pre-cut 300mm length of clear nylon coated 1.2mm 7×7 Stainless Steel Wire Rope with Oval Swage Sleeves and heatshrink. This version has a Nickel Plated Copper Oval Sleeve that can be crimped with a set of pliers or vice grips. The DIY kit is made from marine grade stainless steel and offers premium corrosion resistance and durability. Trade Packs provide volume discounts – a 10- pack has enough components to complete 10 Cable Tethers.

Usage: of the Cable Tether Kit is simple. Put one sleeve on the wire, then put the wire around something, then back through the swage again – adjust loop size and squish it. Then slide the two lengths of heatshrink tubing onto the wire and complete the loop on the other end. Once the swage sleeves are crushed – simply slide the heatshrink over the connection and heat briefly until the tubing shrinks tight and seals the connection. Note that these fittings are NOT rated for lifting purposes – but good luck if you want them to corrode 🙂
