Description
These Cordless Hydraulic Round Crimping Dies suit the 6T EP Series in our line of Cordless Hydraulic Swaging Tools. These dies are intended to be used in a “crimping” capacity – NOT a true swaging capacity. The sizing of the dies accommodates the EP Series, and the power of tool achieved on the actual contact surface is MUCH more, thus allowing faster work, use on larger wire with elevated head pressure in a crimping capacity.
Application: These dies are offered separately and are specialized for use with either Round or Hourglass Swages in Copper or Aluminium. They are available individually in case of loss of the original or if there is an interest in having some extras. All of the dies intended for our Swaging Tools are (and have always been) high carbon tool steel that is heat treated for long life. Used as recommended, in the EP tool, these jaws are hard enough that they will (probably) never need to be replaced. But if you do wear them out, or lose them in the forest – the replacements are available here
