This 3.2mm G316 7×7 Garage Door Cable Repair Kit is best suited for coastal regions and has a length 50M of 7×7 G316 Wire Rope. And the 50M can do WAY MORE than a single BIG door – and its strong with an MBS of ~ 703.6kg. You will need additional (copper or nickel plated copper sleeves) and a swaging tool, but the Stainless steel wire rope can be trimmed to fit.
Usage: Secure the eye on the end of the cable that has been cut to size. An appropriate Cutter for this cable would be one of our Parrot Beak Cutters. You could use wire rope grips, but we recommend using swage sleeves. Additionally, thimbles can also be used to reinforce the eyes and to distribute the load.
