Description
This 3.2mm G316 7×7 Garage Door Cable Repairs Kit is best suited for coastal regions and has a length of 7×7 G316 Wire Rope and optionally 6 Wire Rope Grips for securing the two ends. In a pack size of 1, there are enough fittings for a single BIG door: MBS is ~ 703.6kg

The fittings can be secured with a basic spanner and the Stainless steel wire rope can be trimmed to fit.
Installation of the assembly is simple. Cut the wire to length, secure the wire to the windlass using 3 of the Wire Rope Grips. Secure the other end to the door using the other 3 wire rope grips and ONLY then… wind her up.
Usage: Secure the eye on the end of the cable that has been cut to size. An appropriate Cutter for this cable would be one of our Parrot Beak Cutters. Thimbles can also be used to reinforce the eyes and to distribute the load, and are provided in the kit.
