Hardened Round Professional Hydraulic Swager dies suit the Low Cost Wire Professional Hydraulic Swaging Tool. They are offered separately – as an upgrade over the original or if there is an interest in having some extras. All Swaging Tool dies are (and have always been) hardened steel. Additional processes include heat treating and Chrome Vanadium Plating

These little beauties work for specific tools – as well as being available in specific sizes.
Machine (oval) ferrules require hardened round (HR) Dies. Machine swages may be either copper or aluminium. The HR Dies suit Oval Swages. The wider compression zone (17.2mm), generally more robust and thicker material make the HR dies more durable than the GH Dies. These HR Dies finish the fitting with a round shape that suits machine (OVAL) swages and YES this works on Nicopress Swages VERY well. They are available in sizes suiting ferrules used on wire from 4.0mm to 9.0mm.
The dies are available as individual (matched) pairs or as a set. A Professional Hardened Round Die Set contains 1 each of the 4.5mm, 5.0mm, 6.0mnm, 6.5mm, 7.0mm, 8.0mm and 9.0mm Dies.
