Description
Jaw Swage Rigging Screw Fork Terminal Long Eye Bolt Timber Insert SRTT kit suits a run of wire of 10 meters or less (hence the SR or Short Run) because there is a single tensioning pointy. The single tensioning point uses two attachment points which are two M6 x 1.0 x 40mm (Long) Mini Eye Bolts. These attach directly into the two RHT Timber Inserts once they are installed into the Timber posts (hence the TT or Timber to Timber).
Application: Drill the posts and install the Timber Inserts using a Hex Wrench. The first end of the run has a Jaw / Swage Rigging Screw (for wire tensioning) swaged to the wire. Attach the tensioner to the first 40mm Eye Bolt. The Mini Eye Bolt screws into a Timber Insert. Attach the second end using a Fork Terminal swaged to the wire to attach to the second 40mm Mini Eye Bolt which is fastened to the second Timber Insert. We recommend that the end posts are drilled 8.0mm to accommodate the M6x1.0 Stainless Steel Timber Inserts.
Wire may be installed through the intermediate posts and cut to length. Please make sure you expand the turnbuckles before measurement and drill the intermediate posts out to at least 4mm prior to swaging in place. If you want your intermediate posts to match with awesome Stainless Steel grommets you will want to rebate 1.5cm in depth and 8.0mm in diameter to Stainless Steel or Nylon split ring standard grommets.
Alternately, if you build the wire before you install it, then the length of a wire run is determined by the ‘inside to inside’ post measurement less a fixed amount which represents the distance between the attachment posts ‘taken up’ by the fittings when installed and adjusted properly.
