Each are compatible with fittings of the proper thread size. They have industry standard sizing and are available in a number of sizes to suit the fittings and threaded rod that we offer as well. Usage: The Nyloc Nut M12 RHT Zinc Plated Steel provide a strong thread for fasteners. Nuts are recommended where both sides of the panel are accessible. This includes sections such as box or tube. Otherwise, Rivet Nuts can be installed into panels as thin as 0.5mm. Nutserts require access to only 1 side of a panel. Nutserts do not suffer from the maximum hardness limitations of self-clinching nuts. Consequently, sheetnuts are suitable for installation into hard or non-ductile panels. Our Rivnuts feature “bulge control” technology to accurately control the upset point. Additionally, the multi-grip feature is able to accommodate a much wider grip-range.
