Description
This Swage Bolt Timber Insert End Stopper SRMMkit includes fittings suitable for a Vertical Run wire, up to 10 metres in length, as there is one tensioning point. There are enough fittings for a single wire run.
Application:
In this application, the bottom end is fed through holes drilled in the bottom rail – in line with nutserts fitted into the top rail. The top end of the run uses an Nutsert with an M6 Swage Thread Terminal to create the required tension, and the other end uses a swage end stopper (sometimes called a dome end, or end stop) to prevent twisting the wire.
The fittings must use hydraulic swaging. They suit wire runs of less than 10 metres. The length of a wire run is measured from the inside of each rail. Installation of the Swage Bolt Nutsert End Stopper SRMM kit is simple. Cut the wire to length, swage the dome end, feed the wire through pre-drilled intermediate posts, swage the thread terminal on, and screw into the Nutsert to apply tension.
