M12 to M8 Thread Reducing Insert Stainless Steel can be used to reduce the size large female threads. This fitting reduces Metric Coarse threads, M12x1.75 to M8x1.25 and is 15mm long. One end is slotted to allow it to be inserted into the large thread.
Usage: M12 to M8 Thread Reducing Insert Stainless Steel are used to secure M8 threaded fittings into M12 threads. Please note that the retention strength of these fittings should be considered equivalent to the M8 threaded connector. Any M8x1.25 Metric Coarse threaded fastener may be used in the internal threaded port. We recommend that thread locking compound is used when the insert is installed.
