Description
Threaded Eye RHT G316 Stainless Steel is a forged terminal fitting that is designed to provide a method for an eye for anchoring chain or wire rope. Firstly, the eye is mounted to a fixed surface by drilling and tapping the thread into a post or plate. These are available as either LHT (Left Handed Thread) or RHT (Right Handed Thread). Consequently, you may need a special drill tap (we have them as well). Alternatively, they can be simply put through a hole and bolted in place or they can be used with a Turnbuckle Body (open or closed).
Application: Furthermore Low Cost Wire Stainless Steel Threaded Forks are specifically designed for general purpose and shade sail applications and suit most types of metric threaded Eye Nuts and Hex Nuts. Note that these fittings are NOT rated for lifting purposes.
