Timber Inserts M6 RHT G304 Stainless Steel BlackTech locate fasteners in timber – but these ones are BLACK. Also known as Timnuts or Timber Nuts in common vernacular. Our Timber Inserts are Large Flange with with deep lag threads – so the stay put! Firstly, AISI G304 stainless steel makes up these fittings. Secondly, they are compatible with fittings of the proper thread size. Thirdly, installation requires a correctly sized Allen Key (or Hex Bit) to wind/drill in the insert. Finally, these fittings are industry fabrication quality and IMHO – some of the best around.

Usage: Timber Inserts RHT (Timber Nuts) place a permanent fastener (nut) inside a post (like a frame stud/joist or a timber post). Consequently, wire fittings screw in and tighten without needing a wrench behind the panel to hold a nut. Use of this type of fastening point is common when building furniture as it allows a precise connection. Also available in LHT to work with Swage Studs. Internal thread is M6x1.0. External thread is Lag. Installation uses an Hex Key and an 9mm hole
