This Wall Post Swage Bolt Dome Nut SRTT Kit includes fittings suitable for a run of up t0 10 meters as there are dual tensioning points. In this application, both ends terminate in a Swage Bolt and are tightened with an Hex Nut, capped with a Dome Nut and suspended from the wall with 8mm Wall Post
Description
This Wall Post Swage Bolt Dome Nut SRTT kit is suitable for latticework. Applications include horizontal Green Wall wires of up to 10 meters (with intermediate supports at least every 1 to 2 meters). Firstly, dual tensioning points with optional intermediate supports offer adequate adjustment. Secondly, there are enough fittings for a single wire run. Thirdly, intermediate Wall Posts are designed to support the wire and stick out from the wall the same distance as the 8mm 95mm Wall Posts that support the end points. Versions of this Kit work with 2.4mm, 3.2mm and 4.0mm Wire Rope.
Application
We recommend cutting, building, installing (a single wire first) and reviewing your installation to ensure that it looks the way YOU want it to look once its complete.
Option 1 – Build in Place First step, secure the eye bolts/screws. Subsequently, install the wire through the intermediate supports and ‘cut to length’. Secondly, fasten the intermediate posts firmly using 8mm threaded rod or 8mm Double Threaded Bolts. Thirdly, before swaging, please expand all of the tensioners. Finally, this preserves the maximum adjust-ability.
Option 2 – Pre Build Alternately, you build the wire into the Wall Post Swage Bolt Dome Nut SRTT Kit before you install it. Consequently the wire length is the ‘inside to inside’ post measurement less a fixed amount. Interestingly, this fixed amount is the distance ‘taken up’ by the fittings. Finally, the kit installs and adjusts properly with the correct length adjustment.
