It is well designed with reliable, solid construction and chews through both stainless and galvanised wire rope. The Jaws can also be swapped over for Swager Head or even the Rod Cutting Head.
Description
Wire Cable Cutter Head is a replacement or accessory head. This is NOT a complete tool. It has the ultimate collapsing trapezoidal design to preserve the shape of the wire – and it fits on our bench mounted All-in-One Swaging and Cutting Tool as well as our 600mm Professional Hand Swager. It will cut cables all day long – straight and true and its adjustable 🙂 This robust design eliminates shake and vibration while allowing incremental ‘tuning’ which makes the tool usable over extended timeframes
Usage: The Wire Cable Cutter Head chomps up to 8.0mm Galvanised or Stainless Steel with forged steel jaws make easy work of all structures of wire (7×7, 7×19, and 1×19). Use of this head in our Bench mounted tool makes repetitive (jig) cuts extremely repeatable. This Cutting Head suits Multi-Strand wire made from both Mild Steel, Galvanised Steel, and Stainless Steel. It easily eats Copper or Aluminium wire for electrical work. Under pain of DISCIPLINE – do NOT use this tool on rod or re-bar. It will simply annoy the rod and then crack/chip/splinter the blades. Used properly, the precise wire cable cutting head with its integral set screw adjustment mechanism ensures a high-quality cutting result – time after time.
