Gym Cable Ball Shield 38mm x 9.5mm Zinc Plated is used to protect a 38mm nylon Gym Cable Ball. It fits to single wire ropes – generally overtop of the Ball. Our Ball Shield fittings are pretty important if you are tired of smashing your Balls in a heavy workout. Basically, they are bits of Zinc Plated Mild Steel that are designed to act as a bumper or shield point. In practice, they must be put on before any terminals are swaged onto the wire.
Usage: Gym Cable Ball Shield 38mm x 9.5mm Zinc Plated are used with various types of lifting or control cables where are potential impact points due to weight driven over retraction – but they can be used on most Gym Equipment Cables. Please note that these fittings are retained over the ball with with an O-ring or donut or grommet
