Black Coated Professional Gym Cable is really Black Coated Galvanised Steel Wire Rope in various thicknesses with a nylon covering – and this covering is the KEY to incredible durability. This ‘no-conmpromise’ premium wire has a steel core with a 7×19 structure for maximum flexibility and strength. It is commonly referred to as ‘working wire’ as it will not work harden in the same way that Stainless Steel wire will over time. The coating on the wire MUST be stripped for any fittings to properly work.
Usage: This Professional Black Coated Gym Cable has its size specified by a diameter pair (e.g. 3.0mm/4.0mm) where the first number is the core wire diameter and the second number is the overall diameter (with coating). Please note that with any wire, the core (FC or WRC), the diameter of the wire, the structure of the wire, the coating material all affect flexability, durability and strength (MBS).
