Nutsert Mandrel Metric ALL SIZES

Our Individual Nutsert Mandrel Metric Coarse fit our line of Rivet Nut Insertion Tools. They are industry fabrication quality and IMHO – one of the best hand tools around. Mandrels are what are required to ‘set’ a nutsert into a panel. Our mandrels are available in Metric Coarse and Imperial UNC. These Mandrels are recommended for use with our tools – but they are NOT a universal fit in ALL nutsert tools.

Usage: Mandrels are the ‘bit’ that screws into a Nutsert Tool (on one end) and then screws into an insert (probably a Nutsert) on the other. The fastening thread (bit that screws into the tool) has an M8 Thread, which is a NOT a universal feature (e.g. these will NOT work in a Kinchrome tool). Please beware that mandrels are like drill bits and brake pads – they are expendable and how long they last depends on the technique, habits, and abilities of the user 🙂
