When you make a purchase from Low Cost Wire, all products and services are covered by the limited warranty described herein. Additionally, it is assumed that as a client – you have read the terms and conditions and have agreed to them as a condition of sale.  Every Transaction through the website lowcostwire.com.au – either directly completed or on-line or by a representative of Low Cost Wire Pty Ltd and its trading entities on behalf of the end customer – requires that the customer accepts our terms and conditions.

Any client request to complete a transaction (over the phone or in person) empowers the representative of Low Cost Wire Pty Ltd and its trading entities to accept our terms and conditions on behalf of the requesting customer.  A completed transaction implies agreement with the terms and conditions which confers acknowledgement, agreement and acceptance of our warranties.

Low Cost Wire Pty Ltd makes every effort to include and only make available accurate and up to date information through all their trading platforms including this website, they cannot and are not responsible for any errors or omissions in the information provided.

At all times, Low Cost Wire Pty Ltd strives to be accurate in depicting all products featured on all their trading platforms including this website. However, pricing, specifications, and availability are subject to change without notice.

Faulty/damaged goods under warranties

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Act. The original purchaser of the product is entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and for compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.  The original purchaser of the product is also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

Warranty Conditions:

Low Cost Wire Pty Ltd makes no warranties or representations, implied or expressed, as to the accuracy, completeness, timeliness or usefulness of any opinions, advice, services or other information found in or referenced in any of their trading platforms including this website.

All products sold by Low Cost Wire Pty Ltd and its trading entities, are supplied with only the original manufacturer’s warranty and guarantees. Where available – Warranty Information is supplied with the product at time of shipment.

All products sold by Low Cost Wire Pty Ltd and its trading entities, are supplied with only the original manufacturer’s instructions and packaging labels where available.  Information provided on the Low Cost Wire Website is deemed instructional material and is considered to be supplied with the product at time of shipment.

Defects that occur within this warranty period, under normal use and care, will be repaired, replaced, or refunded at the discretion of Low Cost Wire Pty Ltd.  The benefits conferred by this warranty are in addition to all rights and remedies in respect of the product that the consumer has under the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 and similar state and territory laws

Warranty Details:

All products with electrical components sold by Low Cost Wire Pty Ltd and its trading entities, are tested and confirmed fit for purpose at the time of shipping / dispatch. Once opened, products with electrical components sold by Low Cost Wire Pty Ltd and its trading entities, are not refundable.

All Products that have either been physically modified, opened, or had repairs attempted by an entity other than an authorized Service Center or misused in contradiction of the user instructions and/or Operations Manual, packaging labels or the information supplied on the Low Cost Wire website will not be eligible for an Accepted Claim assessment.

All Warranty Claims under original manufacturers warranties must be issued an Authorization Number for tracking.  Any shipping and handling charges to return the product to Low Cost Wire are the sole responsibility of the claimant. Claims under original manufacturers warranties will incur shipping and handling charges that are the sole responsibility of the claimant.

Warranty claims:

All claims must be accompanied by an Authorization Number issued by a representative of Low Cost Wire or the product will be treated as an unaccepted return as detailed in the Returns policy.

Provided the above conditions are met, we will be in touch to help find an appropriate solution.

All authorized claims against items received will have the acceptability of the claim assessed against the Low Cost Wire Warranties conditions.

All unaccepted claims will be treated as an Unauthorized Return as detailed in the Returns policy.  Unaccepted returns will be held for 7 days after the client has been informed. If the client wants the item returned or serviced, they must inform Low Cost Wire in writing within the 7 day holding period. Clients will be charged return postage for any unaccepted return. Service requests will be dealt with on an individual basis as detailed in our Services Policy

All accepted claims are assessed by Low Cost Wire on behalf of the manufacturers for an outcome.

Accepted Claims assessed as having a minor Manufacturing Defect/Fault will be repaired by the manufacturer and returned to the client within a reasonable time. All claimants shipping costs will be re-imbursed with presentation of receipts.

Accepted Claims assessed as having a Manufacturing Defect/Fault that is beyond repair will then be replaced. If the product is superseded you will be entitled to a refund. All claimants shipping costs will be re-imbursed with presentation of receipts.

Repair and Refurbished Goods or Parts Notice

Unfortunately, from time to time, faulty products are manufactured which need to be returned to the Supplier for repair. If your product is capable of retaining user-generated data (such as files stored on a computer hard drive, telephone numbers stored on a mobile telephone, songs stored on a portable media player, games saved on a games console, files stored on a USB stick, or usage data and codes stored in a tool) during the process of repair, some or all of your stored data may be lost.  We recommend you save this data elsewhere prior to sending the product in for service or repair.

Refurbishment Notice

Please be aware that rather than repairing your specific device, we may replace it with a refurbished unit of the same type or use refurbished parts in the repair process. All refurbished parts or replacements are only used where they meet Low Cost Wire’s stringent quality specifications.

Timely Response

Liability Disclaimers:

Low Cost Wire and its agents disclaim and exclude liability for any and all consequential loss arising from use of any Products or Services purchased from any and all of their trading platforms, including liability for loss of income, loss of profits, loss of a contract, data loss, loss of goodwill, loss of potential business, or any damage to personal property or any personal injury, whether direct or indirect, of any kind, unless:

  1. such loss could have been expected to result from a failure by Low Cost Wire to meet a written consumer guarantee and any such loss was reasonably foreseeable; or
  2. where Low Cost Wire is the manufacturer or importer of the relevant Product, such loss has arisen due to the relevant Product having a safety defect within the meaning of section 9 of the Australian Consumer Law and further that none of the defenses established by section 142 of the Australian Consumer Law apply to the relevant Product/s.

Risks as to use of products and services sold through any of their trading platforms including this website and information contained in this web site are to be assumed in total by the ultimate end-user.

Low Cost Wire Pty Ltd does not give any warranty or other assurance as to the operation, quality or functionality of this site or any of their trading platforms – both on-line or physically accessible.  Access to any of their commercial sites may be interrupted, restricted or delayed for any reason.
