A Pelican Hook is designed to provide a method for anchoring chain and wire rope to a saddle or eye strap or saddle strap or eye bolt or eye screw. Stainless Steel Pelican Hooks are made from polished marine grade stainless steel and offer excellent corrosion resistance and durability.
Description
Pelican Hook 316 Stainless Steel fittings are closable hooks that can be screwed onto a threaded fastener – normally this is a stud. This fitting links items together. The geometry of the fitting makes for incredible strength. It links chain and wire rope to some sort of device or anchor point. The round open body providing a rustic or industrial appearance for that timeless marine look. The fitting is removable from the line by screwing it off the stud. The advantage of a Pelican Hook over a Shackle is that they can be removed 1 handed. The clipped tab securely closes the fitting. These fasteners are secure once installed. Finally, these links combine with other fittings, including C-links, twisted shackles, chain and saddle straps.
Usage: The Pelican Hook G316 Stainless Steel fittings exist in a range of sizes. All links are electro-polished for excellent corrosion resistance and durability. Additionally, the cast material is high quality AISI 316 marine grade stainless steel. The electro-polished finish is superior and durable. Low Cost Wire Stainless Steel hooks suit general purpose “linking” applications. Their form accommodates most types of turnbuckle or terminal fittings.
