This Swage Bolt Hex Adjuster Eye Bolt GW kit includes fittings suitable for a run 10 meters or more as there are dual tensioning points. In this application, both ends terminate in a Swage Bolt and are tightened with an M6 Hex Adjuster with an M6 Swage Thread Terminal and suspended from the wall with 8mm x 70mm Mini Eye Bolts
Description
This Swage Bolt Hex Adjuster Eye Bolt Spacers SRMM kit is suitable for latticework. Applications include horizontal or vertical Green Wall wires of up to 10 meters. Firstly, dual tensioning points with optional intermediate supports offer adequate adjustment. Thirdly, intermediate Eye Lag Screws (6mmx75mm) support the wire and stick out from the wall the same distance as the 8mmx75mm Lag Eye Screws that support the end points. Versions of this Kit work with 3.2mm and 4.0mm Wire Rope.
Application
We recommend cutting, building, installing (a single wire first) and reviewing your installation to ensure that it looks the way YOU want it to look once its complete. Spacers that screw onto the Eye Bolt allow the wire to spaced out from the wall Secondly, there are enough fittings for a single wire run. Each spacer is ~24mm
Option 1 – Build in Place First step, secure the eye bolts/screws. Subsequently, install the wire through the intermediate posts and ‘cut to length’. Secondly, drill the intermediate posts out to at least 4mm prior to swaging in place. Thirdly, before swaging, please expand all of the tensioners. Finally, this preserves the maximum adjust-ability.
Option 2 – Pre Build Alternately, you build the wire into the Swage Bolt Hex Adjuster Lag Screw Eye SRTT Kit before you install it. Consequently the wire length is the ‘inside to inside’ post measurement less a fixed amount. Interestingly, this fixed amount is the distance ‘taken up’ by the fittings. Finally, the kit installs and adjusts properly with the correct length adjustment.
