The Fixed Slip-Lox Cable Gripper Cap is a Nickel Coated Brass fitting that forms part of our Slip-Lox range of robust safety-oriented fittings for hanging items securely on miniature wire. Each fitting works for a recommended range of wire diameters with a 7×7 structure. This fitting is threaded to match with a standard Slip-Lox Cable Gripper Body. The Fixed Cap Slip-Lox Cable Gripper holds the wire with strength commensurate with the internal ‘end stop’. Additionally, the base material is high quality Brass assuring compatibility with all grades of stainless steel and galvanised wire rope. The nickel-plated chromium finish avoids any sort of dis-similar alloys reaction is both superior and durable. Slip-Lox hooks suit general purpose hanging, suspension and display applications.

Usage: The Fixed Slip-Lox Cable Gripper Cap fittings have a standard hole reflective of the wire size range. The advantage of a standard Fixed Cap Slip-Lox Cable Gripper is that it is solid – period.  Other, Slip-Lox fittings can be combined with a huge variety of other fittings for anchorage purposes or load distribution. Note that these fittings have a WLL established based on the MBS of the deployment cable using an 8x safety factor.
