Materials per wire:

  1. 2 x 2.5mm G316 Stainless Steel Swage Eyes
  2. Blank of Clear Coated 2.5mm/3.5mm 465mm 7X7 G316 Stainless Steel Wire Rope

Construction

  1. Cut Wire Blanks of Clear Coated 2.5mm/3.5mm 465mm 7X7 G316 Stainless Steel Wire Rope where CofE to CofE Target length is 465mm which translates to ***mm T2T
  2. The length of each 2.5mm Swage Eye ***mm, adds ***mm to the wire so wire is cut **mm shorter to complete the “swage eye”
  3. Cut blanks to xxmm = 465mm – (2*xx.0mm)
  4. Strip length of coating is 0.0mm to prepare for swaging.
  5. Ensure that the Swage Eyes are oriented in the same plane
  6. For each end:
    1. Strip off the PVC Coating
    2. Using the Crimping jaws are from 240 – hex shape for 2.5mm stainless steel fittings in the Hydraulic Bench Press and press the oval swage sleeve to ~3000PSI
