These Generic EP Series Cordless Hydraulic Swager dies suit the 12T Low Cost Wire Cordless Hydraulic Swaging Tool. These dies are the Generic Hexagonal version with the sizing reflecting the relevant AWG sizing. They are very similar to the EP Series, but the width of the contact surface is more, thus allowing faster work and use on larger wire with elevated head pressure.

Description
These Hardened Hexagonal EP Series Cordless Hydraulic Swager dies suit the 5.5T Low Cost Wire Cordless Hydraulic Swaging Tool. These dies are designed for stainless steel terminal fittings. The sizing is very similar to the EM Series, but the width of the contact surface is less, thus allowing faster work and use on larger wire with reduced head pressure.
Application: They are offered separately – as a precision swaging upgrade or in case of loss of the original or if there is an interest in having some extras. All of the dies intended for our Swaging Tools are (and have always been) high carbon steel that is heat treated for long life. Some are Plated (similar to a socket set – depends on the factory run), and all are awesome. Used as recommended, in the EP tool, these jaws are hard enough that they will (probably) never need to be replaced. The dies are available as individual (matched) pairs or as a set. These dies are the Precision Hexagonal version with the sizing specified in millimeters. Please note that while the EM series dies will fit the EP series tools – this cross-series fitment is not always recommended. The dies are available as individual (matched) pairs or as a set. A Heavy Duty Hardened Hex Die Set contains 1pair of the 2.0mm-2.5mm Dies, 3.0mm Dies, and 4.0mm Dies. Please note that the stamped markings on the dies indicate the standard stainless steel terminal for which they are designed.

- 2.0mm-2.5mm dies work on fittings for 2.0mm, and 2.5mm wire rope with a nominal OD of 5.5mm.
- 3.0mm dies work on fittings for 3.0mm, and 3.2mm wire rope with a nominal OD of 6.3mm.
- 4.0mm dies work on fittings for 4.0mm wire rope with a nominal OD of 7.5mm.
