Description

Drop In Anchor G316 Stainless Steel is a type of displacement setting expansion anchor that is a steel (stainless or galvanised usually) insert used to enable the attachment of a screw in material that is solid concrete that would otherwise not allow the weight of the object attached with the screw. These Drop-in anchors are a type of anchor that allows bolts or all-thread to be fitted into concrete walls or floors.

Usage: Installation of Drop-In Anchors involves a few key steps. Drill and Clean a Hole: Check the concrete is well compacted and without substantial voids. Suitable for dry, wet and flooded holes. Use drill in hammer mode. Drill according to specified depths in previous tables. Check correct hole size and drill with a fresh Carbide Hammer Drill Bit. Remove dust and debris with a blow pump or compressed air. Insert the Anchor in the drilled hole using the correct specified setting tool and fully expand the anchor with a hammer or other similar device to securie the fixture – then fasten the object with a compatible bolt or threaded rod.

Please note that these anchors work well in all directions of force – both shear force and direct tension in-line with the through bolt.
