Safety Wire HEHE 200mm Black Coated 4.0mm/5.6mm 7X19 G316 Stainless Steel

Materials per wire:

  1. 2 x 4.0mm G316 Stainless Steel Swage Eyes
  2. 2 x 60mm Black 4:1 Heatshrink
  3. Blank of Black Coated 4.0mm/5.6mm 7X19 G316 Stainless Steel Wire Rope

Construction

  1. Cut Wire Blanks of Black Coated 4.0mm/5.6mm 7X19  G316 Stainless Steel Wire Rope where CofE to CofE Target length is 200mm which translates to ***mm T2T
  2. The length of each 4.0mm Swage Eye ***mm, adds ***mm to the wire so wire is cut **mm shorter to complete the “swage eye”
  3. Cut blanks to xxmm = 200mm – (2*xx.0mm)
  4. Strip length of coating is 0.0mm to prepare for swaging.
  5. Ensure that the Swage Eyes are oriented in the same plane
  6. For each end:
    1. Strip off the PVC Coating
    2. Using the Crimping jaws are from 240 – hex shape for 4.0mm stainless steel fittings in the Hydraulic Bench Press and press the oval swage sleeve to ~3000PSI
