Safety Wire HEHE 320mm Clear Coated 3.2mm/4.8mm 7X7 G316 Stainless Steel

Materials per wire:

  1. 2 x 3.2mm G316 Stainless Steel Swage Eyes
  2. 2 x 30mm 8mm Clear 4:1 Heatshrink
  3. Blank of Clear Coated 3.2mm/4.8mm 7X7 G316 Stainless Steel Wire Rope

Construction

  1. Cut Wire Blanks of Clear Coated 3.2mm/4.8mm 7X7 G316 Stainless Steel Wire Rope where CofE to CofE Target length is 320mm.
  2. The length of each 3.2mm Swage Eye ***mm, adds ***mm to the wire so wire is cut **mm shorter to complete the “swage eye”
  3. Cut blanks to xxmm = 320mm – (2*xx.0mm)
  4. Strip length of coating is 0.0mm to prepare for swaging.
  5. Ensure that the Swage Eyes are oriented in the same plane
  6. For each end:
    1. Strip off the PVC Coating
    2. Using the large rectangular dies – round shape for 3.2mm stainless steel simplex fittings in the Hydraulic Bench Press and press the oval swage sleeve to ~3000PSI
