Description
Our Adjustable Wire Sling 2.0Mare rated at 10kN, built with wire rated to 13kN, and tested14kN. These Adjustable Wire Slings are made from 4.0mm 7×7 G2070 Galvanised Steel Wire Rope which is marine grade 4.0mm steel core wire rope – bare and naked for a total Outside Diameter of 4.0mm. It securely attaches objects to anchor points and is primarily used as a safety tether.
Usage: This flexible wire sling fastens easily, bends readily, and resists kinking. The unit will not stretch beyond 5.0mm when grips are properly configured. Units can be combined to form a longer effective length. Optional rated shackles or Zinc Plated Quick Links can be added easily. This tether strap fastens in three ways. Firstly, to itself for a loop. Secondly – onto the wire itself for adjustable security. Thirdly – from the object to the anchor point for a standard installation. The G2070 rating is optimal for Galvanised Wire Rope used for installations in aggressive or corrosive environments.
Length of Wire: Lengths (L) are measured from ‘center of eye’ to ‘center of eye’. Using combinations of lanyards to get the desired total length is NOT recommended. For example, combine two single 2.0M lengths. The effective length will be 4.0M.
