Eye Bolt M8 DIN580 Zinc Plated Steel
(or European Collared Eye Nut Bolts) are fastening points that anchor a fixture onto a threaded rod. An Eye Nut Bolt is a “nut with a loop”. There are two ‘styles’ of these short Eye Bolts (and Eye Nut Bolts) on the market – DIN (Type 580) and JIS. We stock them both… They secure to any ‘FEMALE” fitting with the proper sized thread (such as studs, ready rod, eye bolts, etc.) The eye on the M8 Eye Bolt DIN 580is much larger than the Mini Eye bolts. It is specifically formed to both work with either a manually or a hydraulically swaged jaw end on the wire run – and to replicate the look of a DIN Collared Eye Bolt (for metal)
Usage: The M8 Eye Bolt DIN580can form an anchor point. An anchor point secures chain or wire rope to a fixed surface. Drill and tap the Eye Nut Bolt into a post or plate. Alternatively, they can be simply put through a hole and bolted in place. Additional fittings must match the size of the anchor points. Low Cost Wire Zinc Coated Eye Nuts are specifically designed for general purpose and shade sail applications and suit most types of metric threaded Eye Nuts and Hex Nuts. Note that these fittings ARE rated for lifting purposes.
