Eye Eye Closed Rigging Screw “S” Rated Galvanised Steel is a very strong turnbuckle. Also known as a Rigging Screws, these fasteners comply with AS2319. They are ideal fasteners for projects requiring rated tensioners or turnbuckles for galvanised steel wire rope. A closed body turnbuckle is a very strong fastener. These have locking nuts. Consequently, they attach easily rated shackle and provide a professional and timeless look. Each size of turnbuckle has a different rating.
Usage: The Eye Eye Rigging Screw “S” Rated Galvanised Steel will work with a range of fittings. They fasten with links or shackles into the eyes. Generally, the Eye Eye Turnbuckles work with terminal loops formed with ferrules and thimbles. A manual hand swager crimps the ferrule to the appropriate diameter of wire rope. With both right-hand and left-hand threads, the body of the Galvanised Eye Eye Closed Turnbuckle can easily provide tension to your wire rope, without bending or stretching the wire. Tighten the body of the rigging screw with a standard spanner by rotating the body clockwise until tensioned to your needs.
