They provide the necessary torque on a fastener in a steel structure in exactly the same way as standard nuts, but they are “awesomer”. Structural Hex Nut Grade8.8 M16 fittings are made from Hot Dipped High Tensile Steel and are compatible with M16 Threaded fittings. They have industry standard sizing manufactured toAS1252:2016 K0 with 35-41 HRC (Rockwell Hardness)
Usage: Structural Hex Nut Grade8.8 M16 Galvanised High Tensile Steel normally threads onto the attachment fastener with a Structural Washer Between the substrate and the fastener.
