Hook Eye Open Turnbuckle M10 Forged Steel Zinc is a turnbuckle also known as a Hook Eye Frame Tensioner. This fitting has an open body providing a rustic or industrial appearance for that timeless look. They are ideal fasteners for projects requiring larger tensioners or turnbuckles for galvanised steel wire rope. The welded eye at one end makes these fasteners extremely secure once installed. Additionally, the open hook at the other end allows for easy installation. Combined, these ends are compatible with a variety of fastening fittings, including screw eyes, eye bolts, and saddles.

Usage: The Hook Eye Open Turnbuckle M10 accommodates wire rope up to 5.0mm in diameter. The welded eye fastens securely to an anchor post or fork. Additionally, the Hook Eye Open Turnbuckles work with terminal loops formed with ferrules and thimbles. A manual hand swager crimps the ferrule to the appropriate diameter of wire rope. This tensioner has both right-hand and left-hand threads. The body of the Hook Eye Open Turnbuckle can easily provide tension to your wire rope, without bending or stretching the wire. Tighten the body of the Open Turnbuckle by rotating the body until tensioned to your needs.
