Description

Jaw Swage Rigging Screw Fork Terminal Saddles SRKit suits a run of wire of 10 meters or less (hence the SR or Short Run). But this set is BLACK The Jaw Swage Rigging Screw provides a single tensioning point at one end. And the other end has a non-adjustable Fork Terminal. Consequently, the saddles secure both ends of the wire. No fasteners are supplied with this kit so it works for timber and metal Posts. The BlackTech version of this Kit works with 3.2mm Wire Rope.

BlackTech self tapping screws are available separately – for either Timber or Metal Posts.

Application
We recommend cutting, building, installing and reviewing your installation to ensure that it looks the way YOU want it to look once its complete.

Option 1 – Build in Place First step, secure the saddles. Subsequently, install the wire through the intermediate posts and ‘cut to length’. Secondly, drill the intermediate posts out to at least 4mm prior to swaging in place. Thirdly, before swaging, please expand all of the tensioners. Finally, this preserves the maximum adjust-ability.

Option 2 – Pre Build Alternately, you build the wire into the Jaw Swage Rigging Screw Fork Terminal Saddles SRMM Kit before you install it. Consequently the wire length is the ‘inside to inside’ post measurement less a fixed amount. Interestingly, this fixed amount is the distance ‘taken up’ by the fittings. Finally, the kit installs and adjusts properly with the correct length adjustment.
