Jaw Swage Rigging Screw Fork Terminal Short Screw Eye SRTT Kit is a set of components that enable the deployment of tensioned wire rope. This kit suits a run/length of wire of up to 10 meters (hence the SR or Short Run). The Jaw Swage Rigging Screw provides tensioning at one end of the wire. Consequently, this makes only one end adjustable. The Fork Terminal forms the attachment at the other end of the wire. Ultimately, the  short Lag Eye Screws at both ends form the two attachment points for the wire. These screws attach directly into a timber posts (hence the TT or Timber to Timber). Versions of this Kit work with 2.4mm, 3.2mm, 4.0mm and 5.0mm Wire Rope.

  • 1×19 G316 Stainless Steel Wire rope is the construction that works best with these components
  • Compression with a Hydraulic Swaging Tool is required to connect (pressure weld) the fittings to the wire rope

What to avoid with this product?

  • Do not attempt to attach these fittings to the wire rope with manual crimping tools.
  • The lag screw eyes are only for use with timber and do not work with a metal substrate (aluminium or steel)
  • Exposure to common steel or aluminium fasteners (bolts, screws, or rivets) may cause corrosion and or “Tea Staining”.
