Description

These Jaw Swage Rigging Screw Standard Infill Kit IFTT kits suits a single infill section (hence the IS or Infill Section) with the wire oriented in a Standard (Wave) Pattern. This suits sections of balustrading of approximately 900mm. Firstly, the Jaw Jaw Rigging Screws provide tensioning and are normally positioned at the ends of the run. Consequently, this makes both ends adjustable. Secondly, the Lag Screw Eyes secure the wire along its circuitous path. Ultimately, the Lag Screw Eyes form all of the two attachment points. These attach directly into a timber posts (hence the TT or Timber to Timber). Optional versions of this Kit work with 2.4mm, 3.0mm, and 3.2mm Wire Rope to meet the New Zealand Building Code.

Application: We recommend cutting, building, installing (a single wire first) and reviewing your installation to ensure that it looks the way YOU want it to look once its complete.

Recommended Procedure – Build in Place First step, secure the screws at a spacing desired. Less than 90mm is recommended. Secondly, install the wire through the intermediate Screws and ‘cut to length’. Thirdly, before swaging, please expand all of the tensioners. Finally, this preserves the maximum adjust-ability.
