An Eye Anchor M6 G316 Stainless Steel Anchor allows an extremely strong connection to a mounting substrate – either timber or metal or concrete. Firstly, our anchor is stainless steel. Secondly, the fitting inserts in a small hole and enables the attachment of a screw in material that is porous or brittle. Otherwise the material would not support the weight of the object attached with the screw. Finally, these fittings can be used with wall plugs which allows screws to be fitted into concrete walls (possibly solid brick masonry as well).
Usage: This Eye Anchor M6 x 100 Anchor inserts into a tapped M6 hole, a Nutsert, or a timber insert. Once set, add the spacers. Finally, attach the Mini Eye Bolt to the top of the anchor bolt. Please note that these anchors work well in all directions of force – both shear force and direct tension in-line with the through bolt – but all components need to be snug.
