Nyloc Nut High Tensile Galvanised Steel is a structural galvanised Steel hexagonal nyloc nut. Our high tensile (Grade 8.8) Nyloc Nuts are MUCH stronger than standard and simply awesome. High Tensile Hex Nuts – in RHT and LHT – are also available. Nyloc nuts function as a “locking fastener”. Each nut is compatible with fittings of the proper thread size. We also recommend matching the ‘grade’. They have industry standard sizing and are available in a number of sizes to suit the fittings and threaded rod that we offer as well. All part of a very complete solution for your project.
Usage: The Nyloc Nut High Tensile Galvanised Steel provide a strong thread for fasteners. Nuts are recommended where both sides of the panel are accessible. This includes sections such as box or tube. Otherwise, Rivet Nuts can be installed into panels as thin as 0.5mm. Nutserts do not suffer from the maximum hardness limitations of self-clinching nuts. Consequently, sheetnuts are suitable for installation into hard or non-ductile panels. Our Zinc Rivnuts feature “bulge control” technology to accurately control the upset point. Additionally, the multi-grip feature is able to accommodate a much wider grip-range. Available in several materials, our high strength versions offer much improved thread strength.
