It is well designed with reliable, solid construction and works with Stainless, Galvanised, Aluminium & Copper rods. The Jaws can also be swapped over for Cable Cutters or even the Swaging Head.

Professional 540mm Bench Rod Cutter is a 540mm dedicated bench mounted Cutting Tool. Its purpose is to cut rod or bolts and is of a “Shear” design. Do NOT use it to cut cable – as it simply sucks at that job. With its One Handed operation featuring Vibration damping Rubber Grips and forged jaws. This shock-proof design with ergonomic handles to eliminate vibration makes the tool usable over extended timeframes
Usage: The integral Cutting Function for rod or bolts up to 6.0mm Galvanised or Stainless Steel with forged steel jaws make easy work of all manner of steel, aluminium, and copper. The degree of leverage is actually astounding. In addition, the blade can be adjusted for lateral precision with an integral set screw.
