G316 Stainless Steel Saddle 5mm (Eye Strap) are anchor fittings with matching Rivets. Saddles attach wire termination fittings to a flat surface. But these are BLACK. They are strongest when the fasteners are under a tension load. Consequently, saddles fasten with counter sunk screws, pan head screws, or stainless steel rivets. Additionally, saddles may fasten with Tek Screws or bolts screwed into an embedded thread fastener such as a rivet nut or a timber insert.
Usage: Saddle Rivet Kits work with open turnbuckles, closed turnbuckles, manually swaged fittings, and hydraulically swaged terminals. 5mm Eye Strap Saddles work with a 3.2mm wire or rope. Rope fastened to a Saddle Eye Strap in a loop, should be ‘protected’ by a thimble. The thimble distributes the load to prevent the wire being pulled through a radius that is tighter/smaller than is recommended. Saddle Eye Strap fittings are designed to work with open turnbuckles, closed turnbuckles, manually swaged fittings, and hydraulically swaged terminals.
