Safety Wire SEPE-4.0 1.5mm 200mm 7X7 G316 Stainless Steel

Materials per wire:

1. 1 x 4.0mm G304 Stainless Steel Pressed Eye
2. 1 x 2.0mm Hourglass Ferrules of Nickel Plated Copper
3. Blank of 1.5mm 7×7 G316 Stainless Steel Wire Rope

Construction:

1. Cut Wire Blanks of 1.5mm 7×7 G316 where CoE to CoE Target length is 200mm
2. A Soft Eye uses up 48.0mm when created using the drop anchor mandrel and Each Pressed Eye extends the length of wire by 7.0mm to CofE when held as close as possible in the small vise grips
3. Cut blanks to 241mm = 200 – 7.0mm+48.0mm
4. Use a 2.0mm Nickel Plated Copper Swages and Hold the Soft Eye formed by the DAM tightly allowing ~1.0mm of wire to protrude on the backside of the swage sleeve
5. Using the 1.5mm Dies of the Manual Bench Swager – press the sleeve 3 times – first by the mandrel catching the back edge of the sleeve, then at the front catching the front end of the sleeve and finish the middle for uniformity.
6. Hold Pressed Eye in small vise grips and using the C-Head and the Yellow Press with YCP-70C Dies (anvil and round 3.0mm)
7. Hold the pressed eye in the vise grips and place the open side of the round in the half tube side of the die set – holding the eye up tight from the side and into the dies.
8. Insert the blank all the way and press to the 1000Psi and align the faces of the soft eye and the pressed eye
