Spring Hook Thimble Eye 5.0mm 316 Stainless Steel fitting is often described as a carabiner (wrongly). This fitting links items together. The geometry of the fitting makes for incredible strength. It links chain and wire rope to some sort of device or anchor point. The round open body providing a rustic or industrial appearance for that timeless look. The Eye secures the fitting to the line. The advantage of a Spring Hook over a Shackle is that they can be removed 1 handed. The clipped tab securely closes the fitting. These fasteners are secure once installed. Finally, these links combine with other fittings, including C-links, twisted shackles, chain and saddle straps.
