SSC 780mm Wire Rope Cutter

Description

This SSC 780mm Cutter is a complete workhorse – and one of the set of three tools that we use every day. It is truly excellent and can be used on any Stainless Steel wire rope up to 12.0 mm (8/16″) and it certainly chops cable, aluminium and copper… It will cut bigger wire, but we recommend its limit to 12.0mm. And it will go smaller, but its pretty unweildy for smaller stuff. So, if you want more power, you should probably be using a Ratchet Cutter (if you want one, just ask us). Like its siblings, this tool has Forged alloy handles with cushioned grips connected to Heat Treated forged steel jaws. Its a rugged and light weight cutter Tradesman Quality parrot beak cutter.

What to avoid with this Product?

• Do not attempt to cut high tensile products – either wire or fasteners
• Do not attempt to cut rated chain products as this may shatter the blades
